I've been absolutely horrible about posting lately! I got to school after break and then got so busy :( Classes are going to be rough this semester! I won't have as much free time to craft and create, but if you know me...you'll know that I'll find the time some how! Right now I'm finishing up a paper and getting ready to study for a test tomorrow. Nothing's really slowed down yet! Maybe you'll hear more from me this weekend! Cross your fingers!
My younger sister Mackenzie always looks very stylish! For Christmas I made her a hat to accessorize all those outfits. I found a super cute pattern on Ravelry called Indian Summer by Kalurah. I whipped it up in a lush green Plymouth worsted yarn and coordinating button (both of which I found at The Yarn Shop in Lincoln!) The hat is a beret shape with a cute i-cord on top.
All our holiday celebrating is done...Christmas decorations have been put away...and we're a few days into the new year already! Wow where does time go?
My goal for this holiday season was to give handmade gifts to my family. I succeeded in a few areas...and failed in a few too. In my next few posts, I will share with you the projects I gifted...and a few of those I've made while on Christmas break :)
